Have you ever had that feeling that people write you off at first glance as shallow and weird? I know I'm not perfect. I know that I don't always say the right things. But that doesn't mean that I'm shallow. The next time you see me/talk to me try to get to figure me out. One day you'll find a friend who cares about your problems and tells you theirs. Who doesn't take what they see at first glance to be all there is to you. I used to have someone like that, but that's the way these thing are... To those of you who have a friend like that, don't take it for granted. Best friends are what makes life special.
I don't want people to know about me, I really don't. I am as boring as they come (homeschooled ;]), but I want to know about people. People are so interesting. Older people have such amazing stories, and we little ones think that we do. I like getting to know people though. Because that's when you see their reasoning, the way they see the world. And that, to me, is interesting.
If you are brave enough, post something about 5 or so things no one knows about you ;)
Ok wow... um... normally I'm pretty transparent with people so this'll be hard, but I'll try.
ReplyDelete1. I love kittens because they're adorable and playful and like little balls of cuteness. But I hate cats because they're boring and they think they're so high and mighty above me. (Whether or not that is true is debatable)
2. I love rainy/cloudy/stormy/cold/windy/dark days WAY better than bright and sunny days. I love how peaceful and quiet it is and since it's not normal here in San Diego, it gives me a glimpse of more of God's wonders in creation. Like rain and wind.
3. Ever since I can remember, I wanted to be a nurse. And then last year I developed a fear of blood. I think it goes without saying - I don't want to be a nurse anymore.
4. I've had many, many, many favorite colors over the span of my 15 years of life, but the only color I can think of that hasn't been one of my favorites is red. I can't stand red.
5. And here's the shocking one that if you "think" you know me well, you will be surprised by. I'm not scared of spiders and insects. (In fact, I think they're really cool/interesting.) I'm just a drama queen, (I know, no shocker there) and so when people think I'll act one way,(like scared)I do, and then I blow it into huge proportions.
Lol. Hmmm.... I'll try, but you might kind of already know about this stuff.

2. I am better at tests than I am at sports. (Idk why I put that one..)
3. I love using my imagination. Keeps me busy, happy, etc.
4. I love white because it symbolizes purity.
5. I don't like crab (but who cares :P).
6. Unlike Maggie, blood kind of fascinates me.
I know those things are really dumb..

ReplyDelete2. I don't ever think anyone likes me. I think for the most part people fake it or just put up with me.
3. I once ate doggie treats on accident. It was weird, the were in a Cheez-It box and everything, and i was absentmindedly trying to get some snacks...
4. Once, I correctly guessed which songs were coming next on my iPod when it was on shuffle... six songs in a row.
5. It annoys me when people steal someone else's saying or catchphrase. Like that person wasn't clever enough to think up something themselves.
I don't think your shallow/boring. Just misguided and somewhat stubborn, so that kind of turns people off.
