Abortion

This is the paper I just wrote for my English.

     Abortion~
A pre-born child between the ages of 8-9 weeks has everything present that will be found in a fully-developed adult. Her heart has been beating for more then a month, the stomach now produces digestive juices, the kidneys have started functioning, and fingerprints are already evident. The baby responds to touch, and will curl her fingers around an object placed in her hand. Recent studies indicate, that even at this early rate, a pre-born child experiences pain.

So why do so many women commit to trying to end a life before its even started? To kill such an innocent human being? Someone who is precious to God and for whom God had designed a plan? Is it because it would be an inconvenience to the mother? Is that all that a persons life is worth?

Each year, well over 1.2 million babies have their choices taken away from them. On a daily basis, that's over 3,700 babies a day. We are killing our future! The constitution says that we are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. There should be 1.2 million more babies a year to experience these rights. Take a stand.

  2. Yep. But it fit the assignment. So whatever. What's important is that abortion is a growing issue across the world and it needs to stop.

  4. Great paper, l3ah!! Did you see Toria's paper on abortion? I posted it on my blog. I think it is fine to use the song's lyrics to prove a point in your paper. You could always put quotations around it and tell the source of where ya got it from. (Just an idea. It is amazing with the song lyrics in it!!!)
